Chateau St. Michelle Indian Wells Cabernet 2020

Chateau Ste. Michelles roots go back to the early 1900s, but it was after prohibition in 1967 when Andre Tchelistcheff, guided the winery to plant vinifera varieties. This and Americas rediscovered love of wine ushered Chateau Ste. Michelle into modernity and laid the foundation for the estate we know today. The Chateau Ste. Michelle Indian Wells Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from the estates Horse Heaven Hills Vineyard, Cold Creek Vineyard, and the Wahluke Slope and is matured in a combination of new and used American and French oak barrels. A splash of Syrah contributes a dash of pepper to the New World style expressed by the ripe red fruit from the Cabernet. The palate is rich with fleshy tannins that persist long into the finish. Enjoy with grilled meats or portobello burgers, and some moderately aged cheddar.
