 Winery Tasting Notes: Grapes are harvested late, after slight drying on the vine. Colour is deep ruby red with purple glints verging on garnet. Aroma is intense with a full, fragrant and spicy bouquet. Taste is balanced, full – bodied, enwrapping, with slight sweet notes.

Food Pairings: Roasted and grilled red meat, mature cheeses.

Aging: Aged in steel for 8 months, then in bottle.

91 pts James Suckling: “Ripe red berries with some pungent mineral notes on the nose. Full- to medium-bodied with a silky mouthfeel at first, then some firm fine tannin towards the end. Persistent, spicy fruit and mineral flavors and a hint of cocoa in the aftertaste. A little out of the ordinary. Interesting wine. Drink now.”
